Norinco CQ-A 5.56 Rifle handgaurd...

You can replace the handguard with most any quad rail...I like the KAC RIS/RAS series. Or you can go with a freefloat system. The cheapest way is to mount a 1913 rail right to the handguard, not very ###y...but almost all the real deal trigger pullers in the LMD use this system...works for them.

A relative cheap alternative, would be to purchase the Magpul MOE front handguard and get teh 1913 rail to go with it.

As it has been designed as a system, the MOE handguard should be able to withstand the operational imposed loads better.

Hope this makes sense as I am tired and firing this off before going to bed.

Standard drop-in rails will not fit in the norc cq without some filing. alot actually. the cap is different than standard. of the alternatives you can go freefloat, so semi freefloat like the UTG ones(cheap alternative), that uses 4 set screws to clamp on vice the insert into the cap. makes sense? personally, utg on a norc is gtg.

Yes, you can get lengths of rail that screw right into the flat bottom part of the M4 handguard, and from there you just choose a rail mountable vertical grip.
