Norinco CQ-A sling install help

Hi All,
just got a Norinco CQ-A that came with a black (3 point?) sling included. Tried to find videos and/or instructions on how to install it but with no luck. Embarrassed to say but I can't get it to look/ work right on my own. Any help out there?

There's been many a thread on here regarding how to install that wonky piece of kit.
When I had a Norc AR I just threw the sling out and tossed on an old classic black army one

I agree. Toss it, look for a better quality sling like a magpul single point convertible to two point.

Yup, it is a copy the overly complex HK multipurpose sling...German engineering...here is another possibly useful page:

Stabbing oneself in the taint is less painfull

They aren't bad until you try to use one in the real world - then see the above comment about "taint stabbing"

The correct way to use a 3-point sling is to cut it up to ensure no one else will use it by accident, and throw the remains in the trash.

Good 2-point slings are plentiful and don't have to be expensive. The Israeli slings are very comfortable and dirt cheap, for example.

I am one of the rare ones on here. I use a Tactical Tailor 3 point on my AR.
