Norinco CQ, commercial buffer tube or Mil spec?

Cool, let me also ask, would an A2 stock, plus a buffer tube and buffer, work on the norinco M4? I am new to M-16 type firearms, just curious if the fact that it is a "Carbine" And comes with the collapsible stock and a shorter buffer tube means the buffer tube/spring is smaller and needs to stay that way or will the longer tube/spring that the A2 has work on the M4? As I am looking to put an A2 Stock on it (Then use the collapsing type buffer tube for a different gun)

it should work as long as you switch everything to the fixed rifle stock components. The lower receiver is the same for both stock set-ups.

I am, however, not sure if you will or will not run into cycling problems with the different buffer and spring if you have the 10.5" model. Will probably work but I am not familiar with anyone doing this. I have seen 14.5" guns running perfectly with the fixed A2 stock.

Hope this helps.

It does, as I am probably only going to get the 14.5 norinco CQ , well two actually, but at first just one to see how I like it, I just have come to hate M4 style adjustable stocks, I guess just seeing them and the magpull ones so much I just got tired of them. They come on SKS stocks, shotguns, 10/22 .. even mossberg puts them on a lever action now, and honestly, putting them on the VZ 58 , I find it so out of place. I guess A2 stocks just appeal so much to me because I have a long reach and I love that classic Vietnam style look. It will either be an A2 or this http://images1.opticsplanet.com/365-240-ffffff/opplanet-doublestar-ace-arfx-ar-15-m16-skeleton-buttstock-black.jpg Ace makes a nice plain stock too, this one : https://caluvtech.com/products/Guns_and_Ammo/access/ACC/ace/ULM/ULM.jpg But I cannot seem to find it anywhere in canada at this time

I should mention, I asked what buffer tube it is is, because I may just get a new adjustable butt stock, or use one of those tubes for my M14 blackfeather.
