Norinco CQ new models with painted finish???

Ok remember waay back when Lever imported that first batch of Norc CQ-A 14.5" rifles into Canada with the painted finish that looked like it was put on with a rag ...... then sometime later when when every dealer had them they were anodized and the finish was even and looked pretty good for a cheap AR ..

Now seen some CQ-A offerings from dealers that state (painted finish) just wondering whats up with that ?

Probably older stock, or brought in by some other importer. CanAm and Marstars latest batches were anodized. I'd say #### that to the painted ones, those dealers can sit on them...lol

I just sprayed mine down with brake cleaner in preparation for painting...

It was mostly anodized. Looks like areas were touched up with paint (which came off)

So are these older than what Marstar or Canam has in stock? Both the 14.5" and 10.5 " say painted finish. I assume all the ones with CQ marked lower is polytech and would be same as any other seller.

They are all anodized even the painted ones just soak the painted ones in lacquer thinner and the paint will eventually come off leaving you with a nicer anodized finish.
