Norinco CQA1 couple questions

Had one before,kept it stock..
This one I want to upgrade the stock and bcg..

Will a aftermarket bcg work in a Norc?
And is the buffer tube commercial or milspec?

No reason an aftermarket BCG won't work, but the one it comes with will work as well as any other, it might not be pretty but I have never heard of anyone having one die - pretty much like the rest of the rifle.
