Does anyone have any experience with the em-322,was thinking of getting one and would like to know about the quality(fit and finish) and how well they shoot,or are they the "crap game" rifle like the JW-15. thanks for any info

I don't think anyone here has too high of praise for the Norinco .22's. While not super-crap, they are not really the strong point of Norinco.

Most Cooeys/TOZ's will outshoot a Norinco easily. For the money, you can get a better .22 than the Norinco, no question.

This question comes up about once a month.
Never seems to be anyone with one.
I'd like to get some feedback as well from someone that has seen one and shot it.
Marstar needs to get a couple of guns out in GunNutz hands.

I guess you're the man then Slash5.:D

Shame on all you people. You should be buying up the Norinco products instead of guns like Ruger 10/22's and CZ 452's. :p

Well I might buy one, with Marstars warrenty I guess if it,s crap I can send it back.I have a JW-15a great gun for someone that wants a project in a box,the metal polishes up nice after all the tool marks are removed, the stock appears to be mohogany (spelling sucks) needs to have the broomed on varish and a pound of wood removed to be a comfortable fit and appears to be inletted by termites. After finishing what the Chinese neglected it looks pretty good and shoots pretty decent.I do believe like the rest of the guy,s here that if you want a good cheap rifle out of the box go with a Savage or Marlin because the Norinco JW series rifles will most likely be a disapointment.

On rimfirecentral.com, there are a few reviews... Most people seem to be happy with them. I had a look a it last time Marstar was at the Montreal gunshow. The action looks a lot like the older Anschutz 45 action (14xx). It looks like it as some potential...

But I am still too snob to buy a Norinco ;)

Sillymike how was the fit/finish on the rifle pretty decent or typical Chicom rough

What exactly makes the Nork 332 a "Target" rifle? The ####ty trigger or the ####ty sights?:) Mabey the sporter stock or sporter barrel? Or is it because you can mount a scope on it? Yeah, that must be it.....anything you can put a scope on is a "target" rifle.....
Do yourself a favor and buy an old mossberg with the peep sights for $150 and go shoot cloverleafs at 50m.

Just what I was thinking. I'd volunteer.
I'd even be willing to pay for the gun - after a good review.
On RimfireCentral, they say the action appears to be the same as the Chinese NS522 (I think that's the model) that a lot of people really like. Except that the NS522 had a German barrel, not a Chinese one.

It did look pretty nice, the action was a lot smooter then the CZ/Norinco. The butter knife handle is a nice touche... It look solid. For some reason I think the proportion of the stock look a little odd to me... Maybe chopping off the schanbel forearm and extending it with some kind of ebony tip would help... as well as some checkering.

But $239, it's not that much of an investment... I would still like to have one to play with for a while, I could see if the would accept my older Anchutz two-stage trigger!

There was one listed at the Switzer auction on the weekend. I put an absentee bid in for $150 but didn't get it.
Don't know how much it went for.

A new one from Marstar, for me in Ontario, will run about $300 with shipping and taxes.
That's starting to get into serious money for a .22
I can buy some nice .22's with proven track records for around that much - Winchester 69, Winchester 75, Brno's, BSA Martini's, Cil/Anschutz. For that matter, I'd say there are only about a dozen of my .22's that were more money than that.

norinco are bargain bin guns the nice thing about them is when u are done with it you can sell it or throw it in the garbage i dont care what anyone says theay may shoot decent for a while but next to my cz or anchutz their crap my grand kids will still be clover leafing with my anchutz but for a fun gun norinco are just fine
