Norinco Ethics (copyrights)?

I can't think of any specific firearm type that Norinco makes which isn't based on a design who'se patents would have expired decades ago. Funny how the people who are the most vocal about "knock-offs" also own non-armalite/colt AR's ... Heck even some of your "high quality" or "premium" European or North-American firearms are a bunch of Chinese-made parts, finished and partially assembled in either the Philippines or Indonesia (among other 3rd world hell holes), and then shipped to whichever "manufacturer" ordered them in order to get fitted and finished, then stamped with your premium brand ...

Wonder what Remington thinks about Norincos 870? Had a look at a 14" barrel version at the shop the other day, looked ok, but usual sharp edges and general Norinco roughness. I'd rather buy a good used Remmy Express and be done with it.

I found the opposite to be true about the Remington version, Remington is cutting allot of corners, the quality just isn't there anymore.

Also one can't beat the price on the HP-9 with the 14" barrel.
In this global market higher price tag does not mean better quality...it mean too many middlemen, and allot of price gouging.
