Norinco front sight for the shorty

Springfield armoury sells the bush rifle front sight. It is NM blade and the base is thicker (taller). Specifically made for 18" barrel.
Works like a freakin charm on our 18.5" rifles
 
the oem front blade on both rifles is very very thick, the standard barreled front blade is shorter then the one on the 18.5, if you try to use an aftermarket NM front blade from a standard length barrel, it will be way too short to properly zero on the 18.5. Get one that is purposely designed for use on the 18.5.

If you want a thinner front blade, get the national match front blade from Springfield armory. But you will also need a national match rear peep sight as well (the standard norinco one is too large when you view the NM blade sight through it)
 
Was hoping for. Canadian supplier id rather not order a front sight that would up being half the rifle s orriginal price. I have heard od the Springfield bush sight. Does anyone have like a product number on it?

Oh and I'll add, there is no canadian supplier because we're all cheap and the profit margins aren't high enuff for canadian outfits to bother
 
The sight from Springfield is $35 plus exchange, taxes and shipping.

No need for a part number. Just call them up (1-800-680-6866) and ask for Kelly (ext 8981) who handles international orders and tell her what you need.

Well worth it imho

The Canadian dollar aint great I saw one sight ,the xs sight for 130 usd add in shipping and exchange it could very well be half price lol just not a fan of unknown us shopping. Il be ordering the springfield
