Norinco Grey box 7.62 X 39

Hi guy's anyone know if Norinco Grey box 7.62 X 39 is corrosive or not? I want to use it in my new cz 858-4

My Norinco grey and yellow box ammo says non-corrosive right on the box. But I clean my rifle as if it is corrosive just to be safe.

threw me off when he said grey , i mind was thinking silver .

i too treated them as if they are corrosive .

yes, wolverine has them and they are restricted chrome short barrel .

I just bought one of those CZ858 4V today and coincidentally I took it to the range and put a box of that Norinco Silver box through it. On my ammo box, it says that it is Non-Corrosive.

Man, what a nice gun! I got the black pistol grip and fore end grip set and that's a perfect fit for my hands.

After firing around 3400 rounds of Norinco Silverbox I would have to say it is non-corrosive. Its decently accurate albeit dirty/stinky ammo. I quite like it!

Recommend you treat as corrosive. Got some rust on an SKS gas piston that defied normal cleaning. Better safe than sorry!
