Norinco handgun ammo?

Has anyone ever imported Norinco handgun ammo into Canada before? I've heard of them making 7.62x39, .223 and .308 but never any handgun ammo.

Do they make any?

My question would be this, why on earth wouldyou want chinese handgun ammo? Even their rifle ammo is just as expensive as anything else nowadays. Not to mention I bet QC qould be non-existant.

Saw a few boxes of Norc .45 at a gunshow. ########## wanted nearly $1 a round....

The reason I ask is because I would like to have a backup plan if the US stops exporting ammo to Canada.

The Norinco 7.62x39 ammo my dad had worked perfectly fine, and accuracy was on par with the rest of the ammo we tried.

I must admit all I have fired worked good too. I hear you on the backup plan, though I think we should be looking to various E. European countries.

Ya, Canam was saying in a different thread that getting ammo from Europe was even easier than from the US these days.

Hey Canam.. Aside from ammo, if reloading components (primers, powder, bullets) stop flowing in from the US, are there euro or asian sources that can supply us reloaders?
