I believe any ol 870 tube should work as the parts are interchangeable.

just as a note, the 18.5" version is a bit different from an 870 or the 12"/14" versions - the barrel lug is not in the standard location. Whether that'll affect the fitment of a mag tube, I have no idea. Never tried it with mine.

I think you mean the 8.5" is different from all the other barrels like 12.5", 14" 18", etc?

It may be as well, I'm not sure - I only own an 18.5". From what I've seen, the 12" and 14" versions are compatible with all 870 accessories, including barrels. The 18.5", however, can not accept a standard 870 barrel because the lug is in a non-standard location.

Most Norc 18.5" HP9 shotguns have a 5 round mag tube instead of the regular 870/HP9 4 round mag tube. You should be able to put a +1 on it but a +2 might stick past the end. Also make sure the threads are the same...I can't remember if it is different.

Thanks for the replies guy. If the Norinco 18.5" barrel is different from an 870 maybe a 870 Express Synthetic 7 shot is a better choice.
