Norinco HP9 and Magpul forend troubles

Ordered from Brownells a Magpul forend 870 for my Norinco HP9. It was so tight I literally had to thread it threw. Just and fyi for anybody thinking of ordering one for theirs. I had to spin it like I was tapping it. In the end it worked out but what a PIA. I know I know Chinese lol. This is my fun gun my other shotty is a Wingmaster.

It's wearing a Phoenix Technologies Kicklite buttstock and the Magpul forend with 2 5 slot rails on the side 7 slot on the bottom with rsa sling adapter. Chinese sling.

Is that a 14" barrel HP9-1?

I have one from Marstar and everything including a Surefire forend has fit with no mods.

I wish! its a 27" vent ribbed threaded for choke. I had an ati scorpion on it before was tight too.

There must be dimensional differences between the HP9 and the HP9-1s. Thanks and I'm glad you got it to work.

I threw one on my 12.5 grizzly and literally had to pound it on with a mallet. It is NEVER coming off haha. No complaints though. I absolutely love it.
