Ok ladies and gents

So this is me with the Norinco JW-103 7.62x39mm
Inexpensive rifle and inexpensive rounds

I went shooting today and thought I'd share some pics.
I forgot to take pictures on the range but I did bring back the targets.

This rifle is VERY decent for the amount I paid for it. $200

I have the OLD Russian surplus from Lever Arms. Just to clarify, they shoot just the same with old and new 1993 stuff. Don't know why people are paying extra for the 1993 ones...

Both targets are at 100 meters and these are the results:

yeah, it's not a bad rifle, it's inexpensive and it shoots pretty well for the price you pay.

I know there's a few people out there who wouldn't want anything to do with a 7.62x39mm bolt action but from first hand experience, it's great!

I was curious about these rifles. I wonder how they would shoot with some reloads. I could name a few options that would outshoot that for $200 though.

Handloads would be interesting. And if it hasn't blown up yet at $200 it's not a bad deal.

I shoot surplus and they're decent at 100 meters.

So unless you're really crazy with hand loads, I think the rifle could handle it, and it would definitely improve the accuracy.

Humm... a few options that would out shoot this for $200? Do tell!
I look for quality with an inexpensive price tag.

If there's anything that would cost less than surplus ammo with Norinco brand rifle, and it shoots accurately, I'm all ears

I'm still waiting for some of those options. If it's a Steven rifle, the cost for ammo itself doesn't quite count does it? cause .223 or .308 are costly as hell!

There was a boxing day sale. Even at $200 I think its not worth it, the ones I looked at were the worst pieces of crap I've ever handled.

In my personal opinion, it's one of the best inexpensive rifle I've ever handled.
You just need to take your time to polish it up a bit. Plus it's mainly luck of the draw.
I happen to grab a pretty decent one.
