Does anyone have any experiance with this gun? I know where i can get a lightly used one for $350. how is this price? what was the orignal price? what kind of accuracy can i expect? Everyone seems the give the norincos a good review. I have not seen much on this one. Lets hear it. Also if anyone can find a picture and post it it would be greatly appreciated.

For that price you can get a brand new Stevens 200 in just about any caliber and I would bet it would shoot 10x better than the Jw-105.

Punkrockboy just posted on another forum that he has one that will shoot just as good as anything he's seen in .223, so you should message him about it.

I own a JW-105, as I just stated on another thread, I have yet to see a remington 700 sps that shoots tighter groups than my JW-105. Mine blows all of them away. I just had my brother visiting from Alberta, he brought his 700 sps .223, my JW-105 shot tighter groups EVERY time. The best feature of the gun is the trigger. The trigger is fully adjutable 2 stage , probably the best trigger of any gun I own.The scope mount kinda sucks, but just takes some fine tuning.I have a BSA sweet .223 scope on my gun, so the total with scope, I paid well under 500 dollars, and this gun is a gopher slayer. My brother and I were doing head shots on gophers with handloads in April out to 400 yards. My advice is buy it, you wont regret it!

Buy a Stevens 200. It is the same or less money and you won't be supporting...well, you know.

I also own one of these guns, have a 6-24x44 scope on it, very accurate out to 400 yards or more, shoots better than any other .223 around this way ...

Heres mine in Action last year, with a different scope than the one I have on it now.......got the badger while shooting gophers!!

THats the wife of the property owner, apparently he warned her , but she just wouldnt listen,!;)

ROFL! I was going to ask if that was a one and a half kill or something.
Nice badger! I got two myself with my .223 last time I was out gophering with it.
Haven't shot one of the Norcs yet, but I believe you when you say it's accurate. What I've seen is that they are very good shooters.

Used to own a jw-105 (don't anymore) and it was a nice rifle. Really nice adjustable trigger, rough mag and rough bolt opening/closing but shot very well. Saw this post and dug up some old pics that I'll post in case anyone in interested. The only issue I had with it was that I had to put see through scope rings on it as it ejected kinda up and then out and with regular rings the brass would hit the windage knob on ejection and drop back into the chamber. The extra high rings fixed that issue and it ejected perfectly. Ended up selling it for no real reason other than I wanted a cz527 and with both rifles stock the accuracy between the 2 was very close with probaby a slight edge going to the norinco. I've since bedded/floated the cz and it now shoots better but that stock norinco was a heck of a shooter. If memory serves me, the mag and bolt of the norinco was pretty similar to the cz so I'm guessing its a copy of a cz/brno.

Here's some pics of the jw105:

Glad to hear that some folks are pleased with them. Must say that the one pictured looks much better than ones that I had in my shop.
Maybe there are variables depending on the batch and importer.
I found the ones that I brought in to be embarrassingly rough and primitively finished. Lost interest in selling them.
Incidentally, if the windage knob fouls ejection, try rolling the scope, and using the elevation - now on the left side - for windage, and the windage - now on top - for elevation. Click values are the same.

Mine was not a heavy barrelled and the barrel was not free floating. I think if the action had been bedded and the barrel floated, it would have been a phenominal shooter.
