Norinco JW-14 magazines

I had a JW-14 shipped from Wanstalls the other day. I took it apart to clean the gunk out. While I was looking at the instruction book, I noticed the banana CLIP pictured in the parts diagram. Hmmmm.... The magazine looked familiar. Sure enough, I had three 25 rounders that came with a Glenfield Model 70. They are genuine Marlin, too. They actually fit right in, and function they way they should!

I took the rifle out and peppered a few rounds out of it using the 10 rd. magazine. Worked like a charm. I'll have to try out the 25's.

I just ordered this rifle from Wanstall's as well, and I know they accept Marlin mags. Now the model 70 goes back a bit but do you know if the 25's are still available as a replacement part?

Sorry, I can't help you there. I don't know. These magazines or banana clips that I have came with this rifle. The rifle was kind of an orphan that came along with some other guns I bought. I find it interesting that they used the Marlin/Glenfield action as a pattern.

Kjohn, have you tried the 25 rounders in your Norc yet?

held this gun, noticed it was quite heavy and passed also it was at a gunshow beat up with a high price tag. but cool it accepts larger mags if you can find em
