got my new norinco jw-14 the other day, its a .22 semi auto and comes with a 10 shot mag , had a chance today to run a few rounds through it, worked flawlessly, cycled well, good feel, used cheapy 555 bulk 22 winchester ammo, {as i always try first, as its only 22 bucks for 555 rds} it was quite accurate and i am sure will be much better when its not so uncomfortable outside, rainy cold here, anyway except for the 3hrs it took me to disassemble and clean it due to it being COVERED in oil, including the mag, {but thats ok, all part of the brand new experience i guess} it seems to be a great shooter, i will enjoy this rifle, best part is, it was on sale for 125 bucks!!! as far as i am concerned.......great deal, if anyone is thinking of getting one, i can give it the thumbs up....oh, also i started to put a scope on it but found the rings i had were too short and i could not get above the rear irons, so i was just using the irons and probably will leave it so, not a shot out of 20 off the paper and grouped pretty well..no stove pipes, no ftf and no ftf, i realize it was only 20 rds but at least there were no immediate issues, would have preferred nicer weather but at least i got it tested out
