Hey all,
Looking to purchase MY first .22lr, my dad has a winchester model 1890 chambered in .22 short and i've been shooting with a variety of other guns, pistols, centerfire and rimfire.
Before coming to the JW15A i was looking at the Savage MKII series, particularily the BTV, (im in love with thumbhole stocks) but being a high school student i just dont have the bugdet. So when i was browsing Frontier Firearms's inventory and found this rifle, with the thumbhole stock for <200 dollars, i got pretty excited.
Now, i understand that there will be a large accuracy difference between the savage and the norinco, but the reviews online seem to suggest that this is a quality rifle, if only for utility purposes. The trigger is not too heavy and breaks crisply and the bolt is semi-smooth, im told.
So if any of you guys own/have shot or know anything about the rifle, your input would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks,
Miles
