If there is not update on this rifle, I'll go with a henry rifle (maybe a golden boy), they are more expensive, but my friend bought one, and the fit and finish is impressive.

just from personal experience, my norc lever won't feed shorts. but its a nail driver out to 50m (so far) , really nice rifle

They mentioned in another thread somewhere that some of the chinese factories are retooling to newer, more automated processes, and doing away with the older, more hands on labour intensive tooling. From what i understand the lever .22's were on the more labour intensive side and likely won't be made anymore.

Yea I know... But they also said there was one last shipment. I have been holding out for this little rifle.
