Norinco JW25A sight mount question.

There is a dovetail bar or base attached to the left side of every Norinco JW25A rifle I have ever seen.
Is this bar for a reciever sight, or is it for a scope mount?
If so where can you get the sight or mount that fits this bace.

Also does anyone import the wee little polytech 1.5 power scope. It would look great on one of these rifles.

The side rail is for a scope mount. The scope mount, as far as I know, is nowhere to be had. I don't think anyone imports them and if someone has one, they usually got it with the rifle.
