Norinco JW5A 10rnd Mag?

I think you mean a JW-15A, not 5A. It's a CZ clone, Norinco makes a 5 round and 9 round mag for it. Meanwhile CZ makes a 5, 10 and 25 round mag for their guns.

The CZ mags will always "fit" the norinco, however, the mag catch may not seat in stock form, and the bolt bottom may hit the top of the mag when you try to close the action. In this case the CZ mag would drop out of the JW-15 if no mods are made to either the mag or the catch. Modding your gun is all part of the Norinco experience.

I hope that answers your question.

I own CZ, BRNO, and a Norinco JW15 A Backpacker. Mags are mostly interchangeable, but I'd never over commit on a CZ mag purchase for your Norinco until you've tried at least one. Tolerances aren't that consistent on these Chinese guns. Likely will work though.

Worth noting, I think the only mag I own that won't function in one of these guns is the CZ 25 rounder. Works in the BRNO, pretty sure it does in the Norinco...but won't feed in my 452 Varmint. I thought it would be the one it works in best. Not in love with that mag no matter what, so I've never looked closely at why...or even considered modifying it. If I could start over with mags for these guns...it would be 10 round polymer for everything. Always function, easy on the fingers when loading, etc. Like the IDEA of steel the most which is why I have so many. They offer nothing the polymer ones do except sore fingers at the end of a day gophering. :)

I have a JW15A and a CZ 452 Lux... Never had a problem with any of my CZ mags (about a dozen of them) in my 15A, including the 25 round mag.

Confirmed 100%
JW25A which is the same action as the JW15 but the stock is a k98 pattern. It takes CZ 452/455/512 mags. All versions 5 rd plastic, 10 rd metal and 25 rd mags all fit in the action. The Norinco magazine however does not cycle rounds in the CZ 452 or 512.

I have two JW15a Backpackers, one prefers metal CZ mags and the other polymer CZ magazines.

You speak the truth 22LRGUY :)

I know norinco polymer mags will work in a CZ,they just needed a bit of polishing with emery cloth to make them fit in,other than that they work well
