Norinco M-14 front sight screw?

Mine looks like it's toast. There is a huge hunk of metal left in the head so getting an allen wrench in isn't possible. (Yes, i've tried to pop out the metal)

It's a moot point anyway as I've got a new front sight on order, but what size screw is on the Norinco, metric or imperial?

It is metric, as are all of the threads on the norc except the actual barrel/reciever threads, thank God for that otherwise I'd have no place to put that big heavy Douglas barrel I aquired in a trade!!!
