quote from WSquared "tinkering time will be spent putting my M-14S into a new laminate stock. I know, that's not the cheapest solution to the Chu Wood Blues, but I just plain think that laminate is ###y. "
I so want to see that ###y laminate stock when yer done. I have a book of u.s. military weapons and in it there is a pic of a "highly modified" national match sniper m14, dressed in an exceptionally ###y, laminate stock...... wish i could find the same pic on the net to post up.... she looks sweeeeeeet
I have also been, for the past few years, looking for a liscenced smith to work on my m14s rifles....... with no luck. I have gone the route of learning what i can and buying the right tools for the job and accepted great advice from guys who have left the "smithing for money" business. I do all my own work now except cutting barrels.... still need the right tools for that job.
