Norinco M14 stamped .308 can it shoot 7.62 Nato?

so I HAVE read alot of the stuff on this forum about the .308 vs 7.62 debate as to whether .308s make these rifles explode or not. One thing I have not come across is if I buy one of the new Norinco m14s theyre selling everywhere and a crate of milsurp 7.62 Nato can I shoot the nato rounds with these new M14s?

Note- Just confused because the new Norinco M14s are stamped .308 and do not have 7.62 nato stamped anywhere.

Yup, all's well, fire the 7.62 NATO out of your Norinco, it'll be fine.

BTW, 7.62x51mm is the 'same' cartridge, go ahead with that stuff as well.

No worries, I shoot a similar rifle myself... go get at 'er, boy!!

X2 man nothing to worry about, worry more about swapping 223 and 5.56. I've put both 308 and 7.62x51 (NATO) and my rifle has not blown up.
