Norinco m14 worth

depends if they are early models or late models. Have seen the 1st gen go for as much as $600+ and later models for as little as $350. regular price..4ish

If your thinking of picking one up don't be in a rush to buy one with extras. I see plenty for sale with Scope mounts and junk optics for the $600 range. Look for one with at most a few extra mags or upgraded rear sight.

Also Main Battle Rifles is the forum for these rifles. Use the search and read the sticky's...tons of info.

I got mine for sale"in new condition" and i am asking $550 shipped. There now going for $650 + new plus tax and shipping so.

Maiby at your local lgs but they are getting pretty rare online compare to what they were before! Can am is out. Marstar is 599$ plus tax and shipping, alflahertys is $599 for the shorty $580 for the 22" plus tax and shipping, wandstall out, bullseye london is $650 for the 18.5" and $610 for the 22" , p&d only have the delux at $750 , and sfrc only the delux at $800.So yeah there still out there but no more at 400-500$ generally, and all the price i shown there comme up to more then 650$ once you had the tax and shipping.

I've sold five in the $450 range.

Then you had way too much ;)

But seriously i have a blackfeather that i shoot, i love my other regular shorty but dam i had that thing for 2 years, brought it to the range once wen i got it, shot 20 rounds and now its gathering dust...i have mine for sale but i don't see a point of selling it cheap as i don't mine holding on to it...it's just i need money for that nightforce scope i put on layaway.

I am intrigued with this rifle, I keep coming back to it. The thing holding me back is the amount of work involved to get (most of) them 100%. I have too many projects on the go as it is. Sometime maybe.

Problems? I'd say not too much, if any, for most...basically, clean, load mag, shoot. I've had two and both worked great right out of the box. Indexing, headspace, gas system all were good. I replaced the guide rod and I would have replaced the sights, but what it came with worked fine for the short term.

As for prices, shipping can account for as much as $50, and what's it worth to know the rifle doesn't require the barrel to be indexed and the gas system shimmed? Just make sure you check the feedback of the seller if your buying off the EE. 100% isn't a guarantee it will be perfect, but you can get pics and ask directly about the known issues. A bald face liar isn't going to have 20-30 transactions with a 100% rating. New in the packing grease means there is a chance it will have one or more of well known problems with this rifle.

The search function on this site is probably one of the worst searches I've ever had to deal with and I'm sure many feel the same way. Many of us don't even bother to search for something because of it. Most people also don't tag their thread.

You just validated my point.

I'd disagree with most having problems. Your right though they do have issues, and not just a few. All pretty much fixed in an afternoon. I wouldn't want to deal with an out of index barrel though.

You have that four flyer problem too, eh?

Do it and do it soon!

I have two now, and the modifications keep coming! These are so much fun, and with alterations are really versatile. Check out M14.ca as an example of what these can be taken to.

Candocad.
