i took my M213 to the range for the first time.
it had no FTF or FTE.

i was shooting at about 15 yards but almost all the bullets were going much higher up.

do you think the trigger pull is causing a lift ? or could it be the 115 GR winchester ammo that my pistol doesnt like? or maybe the sights arent well aligned?

how do you tell which one might cause it?

Are you the only one who has fired your M213? If so, before making any adjustments, suggest going back to the range and have a range officer or shooter friends try your pistol. Even out the results to avoid mistakes. Always good to see the consistency of a firearm fired by others. Good luck!

Good advice. You may also want to try other types and weight of ammo to see if there is a change before messing with the sights. How many rounds did you fire with it? Maybe it just needs to be broken in a little more...

Side by side, swapping the 2 m213's back and forth yesterday, my friend shoots about a foot and a half low at 25 yards and I shoot about a foot high. This followed us, not the guns.

You may have a lot more time on pistols than us, this is just what we found yesterday.

i shot 100 rounds
i will go back to the range this weekend and give it to someone else to shoot
i will also take another grain ammo with me
thanks for the advice

Take along something you can use as a bench rest. A box and sandbag or a bag of rice or something. Shooting with your hands supported like this should reduce any hand grip issues you may have. Even better is to have a carpet coated T rest that the front of the frame can sit on so you're locked down even more firmly than just resting your hands on something. Look around and get creative. If you don't have benches if you can take along a camera tripod to use as a standing rest.

My own first 213 shot low and to the left for the first magazine. But starting with the second one it shot to POA just fine. It was either my coming to terms with the small'ish grip or the shocks to the barrel for the first magazine helped it bed down that last little bit. But at up around 100 rounds it won't be that.
