norinco m305 sighting in

bought a new norinco m305 a couple months back.anyways my plan was to dial in peep sights before i put glass on it. rifle is set for bsz dead on at 25 yrds.i was shooting those .allen reddish orange cicular targets measurind 5 1/2 inch diameter. at 25 yrds i have 1 target 4 out of five measuring 1/2 blowing out white center with flyer opening group up to 3/4. shot second 5-shot group to reconfirm zero one ragged hole measuring 5/8 from a rest at 25 yrds. i was pleased until i shot at 100 yrds. no 1/4 inch b. s. stories here, lets just say i hit paper at 100. anyways to be honest, i find a reddish orange target hard to see at 100 with peeps. ammo is factory federal 150 gr soft point tried win 168 gr black box, shot good but federal 150 gr shot better. i would like to know what kind of targets you guys use to dial in peeps at 100 yrds, are they black targets? also plz include diameter of targets you guys use, and if you use 6 o'clock hold or not. i did, elevation dial set at 250. PLZ HELP, im good with glass but oboviously blind with out it, at 100 yrds anyway.is my problem the color of targets or do i just need new eyes lol!!!!
 
I buy the champioin targets with the 5 bulls (black and white) and 1" grid. I just use the center bull and make it a little bigger with a sharpie by filling in the first white area next to the bull. I always bring my bolt gun and I shoot the other 4 bulls with it. Works great for me.
