I purchased a norinco m4 last year (a little late for a review) but seeing as the market with be plentiful, i thought i would give my two cents.

The rifle is good, the finish is somewhat to be desired but could always fix that up ;) The sling is something that i guess could be compared to a chinese finger trap, cant figure out how to work it....sad on my part.

The norinco m4 shoots good but my sights are out of whack, just got a front sight tool, so now I'll be able to shoot straight.

Yes not much of a review but there were a few gremlins or problems what ever you call it.... the rear take down pin was VERY loose to the point where if you turned the rifle on its side and give a shake it would separate. This pissed me off so much i was thinking of giving it away... so i took a chance and bought a 8 dollar accu-wedge.

Why not i thought, i put it in and tried to close the upper reciever and no go, the accu-wedge is too big. I was still pissed off, so i pulled out the stake knife and went to town i chopped it down to size (should of used a sharper knife, like a box cutter) In the end it looks like hell but it solved the 'sliding pin' problem, its tight as hell need a punch or something like it to get it out.

Its a good rifle only fired about 100 rounds so looking forward to shooting more and seeing how she does.

cheers

I had my Norc m4 for almost 1 year now, it is a solid rifle (except the paint finish). So far I put about 500 rounds through it, all good. 1 minor issue I noticed couple weeks ago was that the built in weaver scope mount on the receiver is not level. I was mounting a quick release NCSTAR scope on the handle, but it was a bit too high, took off the handle and mount directly on the weaver mount, then I noticed the cross hair it not level, I used a leveling tool to check from front to end of the rifle and I confirmed that the receiver weaver mount is not level, I had to use couple pieces of the shims to level it up as my compact quick release scope has little/no level adjustment, If you are using a normal scope, you can just rotate the scope around to level the cross hair. Just a bit of my findings.

whos #####ing? all the wedge does is tighten up the upper and lower halfs of the rifle. I use a foam plug myself. theres not much can fail with a peice of foam or rubber.

Until it gets into the trigger mech, then you are boned. Well not really boned unless you are shooting for points in a competition or trying to defend yourself with your new club.
