Norinco M4 with green furniture

I did the same, and it looks/works great. Then I swapped out the handguards to Magpul, and what a pain in the butt that was. If I wasn't so cheap, I would have just put the painted Norc ones back one and been done with it.

I installed Magpul furniture: a CTR stock, a MOE + grip, a rear Buis and handguard all in Foliage green. My rifle rocks. But I do agree on one thing with Sixgunonthehip. Installing the Magpul handguard was probably similar to having a colonoscopy.

Pics??

I know it's been said before, but a DPMS replacement (in spec) end cap is what? $2?

Replace the end cap and the magpul forestock drops in seamlessly.

I installed the full Magpul MOE kit (buttstock, handguard grip and trigger guard) on my norc in OD green. It looks great, and the MOE stuff feels so much nicer than the standard equip. The handguard was a huge pain to install though.

If you're going to swap for a free-float foreend on the Norc... don't. Unless you already have the tools, it's a major PITA and expensive. Looks cool when it's done though. If you want a FF foreend and you're only going to do it once, probably a much better idea to pay someone to put it on.

Grip and buttstock are super easy to change. Stock buffer tube is commercial-spec FYI (in case you're not sure what part to order. Trigger guard is relatively easy if you have the right sized punch. You could put a green fore-grip on easy too.

I'm surprised to hear about the magpul swap being hard. I took the stock handguards off with my hands, and I thought the MOE guards just dropped in -sometimes with some trimming required?
