Hi I'm wondering if you fellows can tell me if Norinco made any Mauser variants besides the JW-25A (copy of Mauser G33/40). Like did they make any Mauser 98k versions Norincos?

The Chinese imported thousands and thousands of actual German Mausers over the years of their civil wars before 1949. There are rusted trash Mauser 98s that have come out of China over the years. Any I have seen were horrible!! Would Norinco reverse engineer a Mauser? I don't think so.

While not a Milsurp, they do market a sporter version of the K98 action. Better put, a copy of a Parker Hale that is based on the 98. The model number is M-334. Valley Guns has one on their auction site right now. I little over-priced for my liking
