Norinco MP5!!!!

Yup, for less than $1K you can get a Norc FA MP5 - for a grand more you can get a real one. But you need a permit ($) for each gun, and you must observe 'carry bans' before elections. The guy forgott to add - "don't break into my house" at the end. Money speaks very loudly in the Philippines, if you've got the gold, they'll bend the rule for you.

Impressive, the Norinco MP5 functioned better than the original MP5 my wife shot at "The Gun Store" in Vegas last month.

The MP5 they have there probably has more then 100,000 rounds through it with not much cleaning.

All the ARs I shot there had ZERO rifling left in them...tumbling bullets at 15 yards...not that it really matter at that distance but yea. Those guns get shot A LOT there!!!

This is an old video. Would be cool if we could own a semi auto version but that is a no go. I'm waiting to see what happens with the Sig Sauer MPX. I'd love to own one of these.

there is this little guy...Famae SAF-200 ...looks pretty close to a MP-5...IMHO...Tactical Imports has the skinny on them..

Not according to the guy I spoke with there. He informed me that the MP5s reliably develop receiver cracks with heavy use, and most of them don't make it to 100k. They only use the less expensive post-samples for that reason. I asked him about it because I had heard that rental ranges have a lot of trouble getting long endurance out of MP5s.

Making it to 100,000 rounds would be a lot for ANY gun...

Many parts would need to be replaced, many cleaning, barrels replaced due to the rifling getting worn out, ect.

They have ARs there too...but AR parts are common, cheap and are EASY to change out yourself, practically tool-less. Why they do not do this tho...especially with barrels is beyond me.

When your charging people $1/shot for surplus 7.62x39...your making bank and should NEVER complain about hard times and high over head fees, that place is packed daily. They rack in the money and would make the money back on their big guns, even their most expensive "rare" ones in a few days.
