Sure it is. But given little is known about this gun, maybe it isn't a variant. Much like the famae saf looks close to an mp5, but isn't.

Might be worth learning more about it before we give up on it for its looks.

Edit: I take it back. Looks like a direct mp5 variant. Oh well. Still awesome!
