Finally made it to the range today and tried out a couple of new pistols along with some old ones. The thing I really noticed about the NP-22 compared to the rest (SW Model 41, Ruger SR1911, Ruger Super Blackhawk, Ruger GP100) is that there is a lot of takeup in the trigger before you get to where you think the thing might fire. I did not like this at all and am just wondering if this is a Sig thing, Norinco thing, or just my particular pistol? Can it be adjusted/fixed?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

I think I have come up with my own answer, at least partly. I never did shoot this pistol double action but I think the long travel of the trigger is inherent to a double action semi-auto design, making sense to me anyway.
