Norinco Np-28 pistol-question

I have put over 200 rounds through my 9mm and in all cases the last caseing always gets jammed during ejecting. What can I do? I checked and pulled everything apart and nothing really stands out. Appreciate any suggestions.

My Nork 1911-A1 in .45ACP did the same thing for quite a while and I was also mystified. Does it less so now that I've improved my handloads, but still occasionally gives me gyp - even if they eject fine the last piece of brass is sometimes ruined.

Sounds like bad magazines to me. Are you using a 'brand-name' magazine like Mec-gar or just the Norinco ones?

I am using Norinco mags.

Have you tried different ammo through it?

try various brands an/or wiehgts of bullets and try to get your hand on a non-Norinco mag.

the mags are proprietary for the double stack norks I think. There was a fellow on here that made some work that fit another gun. Might have to do a search

Remove mag.
Chamber and fire a round by hand.
Does the spent casing eject properly?
If yes, then its a mag problem.
If no, then you can eliminate the mag and look elsewhere.

Mags for a 228 will work, or even a 226 mag will work, it just sticks out of the butt more.
