Norinco NP-28

I was wondering, how come nobody seems to want this pistol. I would rather have the single stack NP-29 but it is rarely available. Marstar and other places have it in stock. I've already heard about the thicker grip and the norinco only mags.Is it troublesome compared to the NP-29? I've tried hi-cap para's and they were ok. Also , anybody try the bersa thunder 9 ?

A 1911 with a thicker grip is not a 1911. I want it to feel like my single stack 45.

I think part of the dislike of this gun is that you are stuck with a wider frame due to the double stack mag but you only end up with one extra shot. Now if the mag were able to be loaded to capacity then this gun would be more popular.
