Norinco NP 29 front sight

Has anyone replaced their np29s from sight?

I have the dovetail version and can't find a front sight with a small enough dovetail.

Suggestions for the new sight would be appreciated.

Contact Marstar, they may know the size of the dovetail. Short of that, have a gunsmith measure it.

One can also get a new sight and rework the dove-tail with needle files. Not a lot of metal to remove. Sets like this can be found amost anywhere; I also have a set of diamond files for fine finishing:
