Norinco NP22

I would say more reliable, just change the mainspring to improve the horrible double action trigger pull

Yep, the wife couldn't even fire the thing in double action. Did the mainspring, and now the 10 year old daughter can even fire it. It's a great little pistol (change the grips out as well) I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Never tried the 1911 but the np 22 is great. Mine has sig mainspring and grips and is reliable and accurate. very nice little gun

Great pistol, I've sold lots of them.

The trigger pull is a crap shoot, some are decent out of the box some are horrendous. Changing the main spring makes things a lot better and some dry firing smooths things up considerably. I use Wolff springs and have been very happy with them.

If you have small hands I recommend getting the E2 kit (though you need the plastic base and new style trigger bar spring) Its well worth it for those who have short thumbs on the mag change.

My DA is horrible (super STIFF) but i never really shoot DA ever. I'd like to put a new spring in though. Besides that i put on some hogue wrap around grips and I love the damn thing. Only has 250 rounds down the pipe but no malfunctions what so ever
