Looking for reviews good and bad on the NP22, mainly the new ones with the rails. Have read horror stories on frames cracking, has the issue been resolved ?? Pics of yours would be nice as well. Thanks

That's old issue. The new ones are great...I've had one with rails since 2009 (I'm pretty sure...maybe 2010). Thousands of rounds without issue. Only thing was my original sights were off...but I've upgraded to Trijicon ones (now those were fun to install...but I digress...). Buy with confidence.

My father just bought one. The fit and finish seem to be decent, and the SA trigger pull is to me ok, though the DA rather blows. Hasn't been fired yet, as it just arrived. I need to upgrade the sights with white paint, since one of the dots popped out - lol

No instructions, though, and two mysterious pieces of bent steel wire in the box that we are wondering what, if anything, they are for...

Ditto on the sights being a little off, but it's very usable, couple thousand rounds through mine. The Sig mags work but don't drop free. At least, the one I have doesn't. The Norc mags are half the price though and easier to load as they are 10/15s and therefore don't have as stiff a spring.

best copy norinco makes, cracking issues have been resolved years ago

mags are great, easier to load since they are 10/15 and all metal

sights were off too, but I tapped them over to the centered position

DA trigger really sucked until I upgraded to a wolff main spring (17lb I believe), SA was always great at 4.5lb pull

grips are cheap but serviceable, finish was very good

Not a bad looking pistol, if anybody has a new one in the box and wants to trade one plus 250.00 cash for a S&W MP40 range kit, Im in :)
