Hi andr333y,

I have the same pistol and replaced my extractor with the Brownells version. I was having failures to extract and the pistol was faling the extractor test - inconsistent extractions, with cases being pushed all over the map. Some would fly 4 feet away - others a foot away - one or two per range shoot would actually fly right back at me. Put the Brownells in and it works great. All cases are now extracting about 120 degrees from the centreline of the bore and land in a neat 2 foot circle about 3 feet away from my right shoulder. Slick.

The model I bought is SKU 087-130-300 1303 9MM/38S 70 SERIES MATCH EXTRACTOR

Also, failures to extract have been reduced to about 1 per 200 rounds, and only with the ####ty Nork mags. The Mecgars I have work perfectly.

You will have to shave down the extractor length with a file to mesh seamlessly to the back of the slide. Once shaved down to length, cold blue it to match the pistol. There is a Youtube video with good tips on how to do it. Took me an hour.

You won't regret it.
 
You may also want to tune the ejector

I was going to do that if the ejector did not do the trick. The ejector job was a lot easier.

I don't know if andr333y has looked at his ejector closely or not, but when I compare the Nork ejector with the Ed Brown Brownells version, I noted the machining of the Nork version is just horrible. The grabber on the Ed Brown has a neat groove cleanly cut into it in radial fashion. Obviously machined. The Nork version is just a blob of steel that looks like it was filed by an untrained rice farmer with bad eyes.
