Norinco NP29 sights

I was wondering if anyone has found direct replacement sights for the Norinco NP29. From all the reading I have done it seems the front dovetail is proprietary but the rear dovetail is standard colt. If there is no direct replacement am I better off the modify an aftermarket front sight to fit the existing dovetail?

When the sight broke on my norc 1911 sport model I did some searching but don't remember finding any sight that would fit the dovetail. I ended up replacing it with an STI front sight that I had to dremel down to fit.
