norinco np34 22lr conversion?

sorry if this gets asked a lot. been a while since i've checked in here, or even made myself fully aware of the new laws...

i guess i kinda missed the boat on buying a 22lr pistol.

has anyone ever found a conversion kit that works with the np34? looks like there is one for the sig p228, but i don't see any up here in canada. no idea if they're compatible, or even legal to get up here anymore...
 
There may be some up here but you can always import one from some one like Porphet River or IRunGuns. You will need a longer barrel to make it legal. And then there is the question of weather or not it will even run on the Nork. I know the Nork is pretty close to the sig, spec wise but there are a few differences.
Its a lot of $$$ to fork out with out knowing for sure that it will fit.
