Hello. I went shooting a new np34 today with 9mm fmj 115 gr. blazer ammo. It jammed 5 times out of about 125 shots. It wouldn't kick the spent casing totally out.
Does anyone know a possible explanation?

Cause it was new?
Cheaper ammo?

Could be the ammo, one I had and the one I have now never jammed on me, but I haven't shot that much thru them. They were reloads btw.

Was it aluminum cased Blazer or brass ? The aluminum stuff can be finicky in guns. Just stick to brass and you should be good. If the problem persists it might be a burr or tool mark, but more than likely it's the ammo.

Mine liked everything I've given it. Has about 400-500 rounds and never had a jam or misfire. Trigger weight is another thing, it's heavy but manageable.

I've had no problem with mine shooting regular brass-cased ammo [Remington FMJ, I think]. Try better ammo.

I'll assume here that your pistol is thoroughly cleaned and properly lubricated...new Norcs tend to be kinda gummy right out of the box.
