Can anyone tell me the difference between a NP 58 and a NP22

I know one is .40 and the other is 9mm, but would the grips for a NP22
(sig 226) fit the NP 58 frame ? are the similar in size & lenght ?

I've had Sigs but not Norinco clones. 2 models should be identical tho except for caliber rails and slide serrations depending on a model.

NP-58 is a copy of the .40cal 226, the NP-22 is a copy of the 9mm 226. The NP-58 came out with rail and the wings to solve the cracking issue and then followed by a redesigned NP-22 with rail and wings as I recall. The NP-34 is a copy of the 228, but has not been updated like the other two models as far as I am aware of.

So basically a set of Pachmayr grip made for Sig P226 shall fit a NP58 . Am I correct ?
