Norinco NZ-85 feedback?

I got mine from Marstar and have been very pleased with it. The trigger was surprisingly good right out of the box, never any stovepipes or jams (even with my sometimes less-than-ideal reloads). I did put some Hogue grips on it. I bought some generic CZ mags off someone here and they work perfectly.

not much more for the real deal....

Almost half the cost of a CZ. That's a pretty significant savings. I've never shot one however I held one and It looked and felt pretty good. I've considered buying one myself.

Thanks, guys!

Just what I was hoping to hear!

Not that there is anything wrong with the CZ...

However, I was thinking of buying a Norinco 1911 too; I can pick both of them up for approximately what the CZ would cost me...

And once again, I like the idea of forged steel frames...

Cheers!:)

They are accurate, the stock grips are useable, CZ mags work fine in mine, other guy needed to touch up one of his. After close to 3,000 rds I think I need to change the extractor, as it sometimes fails to extract after 200+continous shooting, I noticed that my extractor has slightly less meat on it than the stock CZ, If you can get one from Armco who will TLC it and you will have a superb gun. Gunar spoke highly of them. My only ##### is that the grooves in the slide are not deep enough. There are some slight dimension differances from the CZ. The sights are OK, but typical Norinco.

Even though I just bought a Sig226ST, I am keeping my NZ-85 and will redo the extractor, and put new springs in it. Definatly a keeper, the finish is quite nice to, one of the best looking Norks shipped here.
