Norinco NZ75 or NZ85b

Why would having a well made, rugged, accurate and reliable pistol for $350 be embarrassing?

LOL. Well made? You mean for a first year machine-shop student?

And how about those great magazines it comes with? You'll be dropping $120 dollars for two real CZ magazines the first week after you buy it.

The savings just keep adding up.

My mags seem to work fine.
Bullets load fine - mag clicks in - gun goes bang.
Not sure what else they need to do.

As far as the finish, my NZ is quite good.

I have a NZ85 with 4 of the Norinco mags. I have put roughly 1000 rounds through it now and only had one fail to feed when a hollow point jammed going up the feed ramp in the first 200 rounds I put through it.

The machining isn't all that good on it and the recoil spring feels like it's around 25 pounds and the trigger has a Looooooonnnnnng reset but it shoots better than I do. It's been a great starter pistol for me.

Have you held it next to a real CZ?

Your opinion of a "quite good" finish might change.

No, haven't compared them side by side, but have handled a CZ, and I certainly would agree a CZ is a lovely gun.

My observation about my NZ is that as a machined piece of steel - it's quite good.

I'm beginning to think you don't like Nornico's?
