I was at Dlask yesterday and was shown a new P228 clone kit they are putting together. Very nice! They said it should be coming in around the 400 dollar mark when they are ready to market.
I've got an NP-58 and after a few runs around the block with a honing stone, I'm happy with fit and finish (although the slide is a little sloppy on the rail side-to-side). The prototype Dlask 228 was vastly superior.
If I was contemplating an NP-34, I would definately make inquiries into the Dlask 228. If only a Sig will do, well then...
