other than the rail have they address some other of its short comings? Ex; mag well, magazine ejector, safety? Or is just a normal T97 with a different flavour of the FTU rail?

The picture they have there is showing the original T97 with an FTU. I doubt they are selling the new T97 with improved feed ramps and OEM rail yet.
