I've owned a Norinco M-14S for about three years now and have put a couple thousand rounds threw it with not one single problem'o. Accurate as a MOFO, and looks kick-a*ss with a CADPAT synthetic stock (Thanks to skullboy)...I have no complants.

I was wondering about the differences (If any) between the two manufacturers such as finish, fit between parts, quality, etc. In a nutshell....is it worth spending $2,000.00+ for a Springfield M1A???

Also, I've read the S.A. SOCOM as being RESTRICTED (Mabee because barrel length)...is that so?
