Norinco reciever and 870 barrels

Only if the Norc originally had a 14" barrel.

A longer barrel and it would have a longer mag tube.

Here is a pic of the reciever and such for a reference

X2 - the HP9's take Remington barrels without an issue.

The ones(2) I've tried had a few issues such as being a little on the tight side, or just plain to tight to seat, and not indexing well with the receiver so that the barrel was twisted to the side and not straight with the mag tube.....

I don't have alot of experience with these guns but the two I have tried were exactly the same.

alrighty...thanks guys,I'll snoop around for a Norinco barrel then.

Can-Am should have chinese barrels availlable in the next couple months and Dlask has been selling cheap Remington barrels and could probably fit it for you if there are any issues...

I just bought a bbl a few minutes ago for my Norinco, I have been shopping around and Dlask is probably as cheap as you will get. I bought mine from another CGNer.

depending on what you are looking for in a bbl they range from about $50 for a fixed choke with a bit of rust to $200 is for a new one. Dlask, I believe is $140.

I know wher ethere is a 30" fixed mod choke for $50 Could use some paint or a refinish.

Anyone know if longer 26, 28 inch nor barrels would fit the hp9? Thinking of getting one so it can be a backup duck gun.

All remingto bbls will fit the HP-9 IF the HP-9 was originally a 14" bbl gun, the HP-9s that came with longer bbls also came with a longer tube and will not accept Remington bbls

So if you have an HP-9 that originally came with a 14" bbl, you can put ANY Remington 870 bbl on it. But if your HP-9 was a "sporting version", then no, you cannot put a remington BBL on it
