Norinco T54-1 useless screws

i noticed there are a couple of useless screws on the Norinco T54-1 surround the safety switch.

why they are there?

safety stops, if the safety is rotated a bit past the stop screws it is able to be removed

I have take out those use less screws and saved them.I still fires.
