Too bad they don't just do away with the carrying handle and front post. That optic looks like it's 3-4" above the barrel.
 
If they do away with the carry handle you would have to move the charging handle to an entirely different location in order to mount a scope there.

I shot my brothers T97 at the range recently. We shot a lot of rounds and it performed great. I actually really liked the sights it came with. Also the thing was very very solid.

I have a core 15 piston AR and I have to say the T97 was almost more fun to shoot just because it is so different.

No biggie. Check out M14.CA's new FTU for the T97: now has a non-reciprocating, side mounted charging handle and in no way interferes with the rail / scope.
 
That sight setup is high. For defensive shooting from a trench, your melon would be a big target. Really nice setup otherwise. Lucky guy!

My wife say's "nice floor". WTF:confused:

Looks nice, but of course it brings up the price of the firearm. The modification is 1/3 the cost of the actual T97.
 
A minor distraction is smoke creeping up from the ejection port and stinging the eyeball but it's the same with all bullpups. Got a red dot on mine and hits what I aim at so very pleased.
